From Colorado Worker Rights United:
Which Candidate for Governor Stands With Workers?
Last year Governor Polis vetoed the Worker Protection Act (WPA) even though every Democrat in the legislature voted for it. Michael Bennet and Phil Weiser have NOT committed to signing the WPA. Are they OK bucking the Democratic Party platform and perpetuating a system rigged against workers?
Billion-dollar corporations and the politicians who listen to them profit from a system that keeps workers quiet, keeps wages low, and makes it incredibly hard to form a union. We need to fight back in Colorado by passing the WPA so workers can form a union without intimidation or a second election created to stop them.
Unions give workers a real voice on the job to keep up with the cost of living, build a stable future, and strengthen our communities. When workers can stand together, wages go up, workplaces get safer, and families have a chance to live and thrive in Colorado.
Unions are building blocks of democracy, critical to the fight against Trump and authoritarianism.
Demand that our candidates for governor choose workers over billionaires-Click here to ask them to commit to the Worker Protection Act!
