The Weld County Democratic Party stands with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and condemns the dangerous disinformation mailed to Spanish-speaking households in four states this week, including Colorado. Democrats work hard to defend our rights to make decisions regarding our own bodies and to protect human rights. We encourage voters to consider the fact that members of the Latinx community were specifically targeted for intimidation and fear mongering, and these hateful messages have no place in our community. These ugly attacks on our transgender siblings and on the notion of bodily autonomy are misleading and inflammatory.
