Thank you to everyone who ran for local office in the 2019 Coordinated Election, and everyone who volunteered on those campaigns.
More than 10 Democrats were elected to city councils and school boards in Weld County. The Greeley, Kersey, and Eaton school ballot issues passed. The fire district ballot issues for Windsor-Severance and Frederick-Firestone also were successful.
There will be a recount for Johnstown-Milliken Schools 5A ballot issue, and in the Greeley City Council At-Large race. After the election was certified both races were within one half of one percent (4 votes and 15 votes respectively).
The election results available on the Weld County Clerk and recorder website contains counts as of November 5 and do not include corrected amounts after ballot curing.
