Re-Elect Stacy Suniga for Greeley City Council At-Large
Greeley is a wonderful place to live, and I’m proud to be a 50-year resident. Life here has opened many wonderful opportunities for me.
I have been a small business owner and operator. I’ve started a nonprofit agency to help homeless families find shelter and success, and proudly served as the agency’s Executive Director.
Most recently, I have been blessed to be your Greeley City Council at-large representative. As a councilmember, I committed to being the voice of this community and continually sought opportunity to speak with residents over the phone, via email, in a coffee shop or at my City Chat town halls.
I listened when residents worried about children having to use a city street as a sidewalk to get to a city park, and acted to find an immediate safety resolution through council petition. When downtown small business owners vocalized frustration over available parking for their customers, I communicated that concern to city staff and pushed for a plan to accommodate more patron parking to ensure a successful downtown for all.
Every personal story I heard from worried residents who were struggling to afford their current housing filled me with determination to champion viable solutions for our complicated housing issues, at both the council dais and in the round of City Hall. During my term, the city began work toward housing solutions, with the first accomplishment being a ratified strategic housing plan to address our housing shortage and cost issues.
Greeley, I work for you. I’m your leader, driven by your ideas, energized to address your concerns, and committed to finding sensible solutions for our cities challenges, growth and future.
Vote for me Nov. 5 and I will continue my dedication as your partner, working with all residents to create an even brighter future for Greeley.
