The Weld County Democrats recognize the following candidates running for Greeley City Council for the 2019 Election:
Stacy Suniga for Greeley City Council At-Large
Michael Whitcomb for Greeley City Council Ward 4
Tommy Butler for Greeley City Council Ward 1
(Listed candidates had previously completed an application process)

The Weld County Democrats believe that TABOR is stifling growth and endorse Proposition CC.

Because education is one of the highest priorities in a healthy society, the Dems also endorsed ALL of Weld County’s proposed school bond issues and mill levy overrides:

Greeley-Evans District 6: 4C
Eaton RE2: 4D and 4E
Johnstown and Milliken RE-5J: 5A and 5B
Platte Valley RE-7: 4A and 4B
Ft. Lupton RE-8: 5C

In appreciation of our first responders, two fire protection ballot issues were also endorsed:
Frederick and Firestone Fire Rescue 6A
Windsor-Severance Fire District 7A

Remember, ballots begin mailing out October 11. The last day to mail your ballot back is October 28 (remember to affix proper postage). Election day is November 5! This local election has races and ballot issues important to our future. Please vote and encourage others to do the same!
