.Precinct Organizers (PO’s) across Weld County are busy knocking on doors, phoning/texting, or mailing notes to Democrats in their precinct. The objectives are:
Connect with all Dems
Provide information on School District Bonds and Mill Levy Overrides, local initiatives, School Board candidates, municipal candidates endorsed by the Party, and on ballot issues such as Proposition CC and other statewide measures, (Proposition CC would allow the state to retain excess revenue it is currently required to refund under TABOR).
Persuade Dems to vote and VOTE EARLY before Oct 28, 2019
Verify voter contact information (cell, phone, email)
Provide a brief overview of important Election activity in the first 6 months of 2020.
March 3 Presidential Primary
March 7 Precinct Caucuses
June 30 Primary Election
Encourage Dems to use the Weld County Democratic Party Website as a resource for the 2019
and 2020 Election
Recruit Volunteers to help with all Party activity related to elections (data entry, election judges,
poll watchers, phoning, and assisting in precinct activity)
