The Democratic Party of Weld County is grassroots at its best. Fundamentally, a political party is about nominating candidates for office. Here’s a chart that shows how that is structured. Our Executive Committee meets monthly on the third Thursday at 810-9th Street, Suite 150, Greeley beginning at 6:30 pm.

Our Democratic Party of Weld County Bylaws are inclusive. We apply a privacy policy and community policy to what we do. We have guidelines for how we treat candidates fairly. In a nutshell, the Weld County Democratic Party will not endorse or support one Democratic Candidate over another. We distribute information on candidates and candidate events, and invite candidates to speak at our functions, because this information is helpful to those who care about political progress. All requests that come from candidates will be treated fairly; publication of information doesn’t indicate a Party position regarding any candidate.

Reinforced by the Colorado Campaign Finance Act, the local party is accountable to the Colorado Democratic Party under Colorado Democratic Party rules.
